Charlie Sheen fake filth flick powers Facebook survey scam

Scammers have exploited actor Charlie Sheen's increasingly bizarre antics as a lure for the latest in a long line of survey scams on Facebook.
Would-be voyeurs/victims are typically exposed to the scam via messages promising links to a supposed homemade sex tape featuring Sheen and supposedly released by his ex-wife.
Surfers are invited to think the clip may feature Sheen's live-in girlfriends Bree Olson (a star of professionally made grumble flicks) and Natalie Kenly.

Charlie Sheen: 'Winning Tattoo,' Goddesses & Unemployment, Oh My!

Charlie Sheen is in the middle of a tsunami of publicity over his job loss and his antics. He is cracking jokes about "winning" and "tiger blood." He is also making savvy use of  social media to maintain his fan base.

He obtained over a million followers on Twitter in about a day. Sheen thinks he's a winner; however not everyone agrees with him. What does it say about the USA when Sheen is able to attract so much attention on a daily basis?

Why Is Paris Hilton Tweeting Charlie Sheen?

This can't be good.

Getting ever more involved in the Charlie Sheen drama is Paris Hilton, who on Saturday sent him a Tweet with a winking emoticon saying, "Hey Neighbor, I think I might have Tigerblood and I'm definitely winning! Huge!"

Hilton, 30, who has had her own high-profile troubles with drugs and the law, also features Sheen's estranged wife, Brooke Mueller, on her new Oxygen Network reality show, The World According to Paris.

Although the segments were filmed before Mueller and Sheen started tangling over custody of their twins, the pair's at-times volatile relationship is addressed on the series, which debuts in the spring, Hilton says.

"Let's just say there's a lot of drama in the show," Hilton recently said on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

Charlie Sheen, Obama, Republicans and addiction: The Browns

By FLOYD AND MARY BETH BROWN
CAGLE CARTOONS
Watching Charlie Sheen’s outbursts is a great entertainment for Americans. Here is a guy who has it all, fame, fortune, a great career and it is all crashing in on him because of addiction.
We all know that Charlie Sheen is one 911 call from the morgue. He has made the ambulance trip before, and he doesn’t see it coming. Denial is a classic symptom of drug addiction.
Here is Charlie in his own words responding to a question about his drug and alcohol problems, “I’m different. I have a different constitution, I have a different brain, I have a different heart. I got tiger blood, man.”
Sheen is not dealing with reality and the concern of others around him doesn’t seem to register, "I'm dealing with fools and trolls. I'm dealing with soft targets, and it's just strafing runs in my underwear before my first cup of coffee."

Charlie Sheen’s horsing around makes him an online winner

Forget Charlie’s Angels. Interested porn stars now have the chance to be one of Charlie Sheen’s goddesses.
The train-wreck actor announced via Twitter early yesterday that one of his so-called goddesses, Rachel Oberlin, dumped him.
“Update: Sober Valley Lodge; Rachel has left the building . . . We’re sad . . . Over it . . . Applications now being accepted! #winner,” the unemployed star of “Two and a Half Men” tweeted shortly after midnight yesterday.
However, the opening was short-lived, TMZ reported, and Olson returned to the self-declared warlock’s pad.

Charlie Sheen Recites His Own Poetry and 10 Other Highlights From His First Web Show, Sheen’s Korner

Leader image for Charlie Sheen Recites His Own Poetry and 10 Other Highlights From His First Web Show, Sheen's Korner
If you missed the first (and possibly only) episode of Charlie Sheen’s Internet talk show, Sheen’s Korner, don’t worry! In our quest to chronicle each and every controversial move that the Two and a Half Men star makes, Movieline tuned in and carefully documented everything that happened in the winning-est sixty minutes of web broadcast ever. There was chain-smoking! There were official sponsors! There was poetry about dead babies! And there was a segment called “Just Because They’re Bitchin’.” Trust me…you’re going to want to review the highlights.
Flanked by his long-time assistant Rick Calamaro, one of his muses and his “musical director” Simon Rex, the Two and a Half Men star opened his show by thanking his sponsors — SelfDiscipline.com and Tiger’s Blood — before launching his maiden web show voyage. Highlights follow.

ROBERT PRICE: Hockey, tiger blood and Charlie

Charlie Sheen is like a slow-motion traffic wreck we can't turn away from. Set to haiku cadence. With a laugh track.
Some of his pronouncements have a scripted quality ("Can't is the cancer of happen"), but many have an uncanny brilliance. Who knew the 45-year-old furloughed sitcom star had a future writing captions for motivational posters? But there's a foreboding that hangs over his every frenetic outburst, a sense that something's about to blow. And once the national media has satiated us with the minutely parsed details of his inevitable implosion, who will be there to mop up the tiger blood except the people who begged him to climb down from the tower before it was too late?

Charlie Sheen to Release His OWN Winning Line of Merch!

It looks like Charlie Sheen is tired of other people making money from his tiger blood and Adonis DNA. There has been a cottage industry of people creating Charlie Sheen merchandise, with T-shirt topping the list (that means you Live the Sheen Dream!). There are dozens and dozens of styles from using Charlie’s manic mug to one that just are emblazoned with the word Winning. But now Charlie Sheen is looking to cash in on his own craziness…again.

Tigerblood: Interview with Snowball Pt. 2

BREAKING SUPER DOUBLE WINNING EXCLUSIVE!!!
It's taken a while, but if I've learned one thing, it's that feral cats are notoriously unreliable. Here is the long-anticipated Part II of the Out of Context exclusive interview with Snowball, the Utah Feral Cat, in which we learn of the White Cat Prophesy, Snowball's feral Tiger blood that will make your face melt off, and other juicy kitty nuggets.
And if you missed Part I, you need to check it out. It is the best thing to come out of the legislative session.

Q: It sounds as if you support amnesty for feral cats. Should feral cats be allowed to get in line in front of cats (a Russian Blue, for example) that go through the normal pet adoption process?

Charlie Sheen gets McLobster challenge on Twitter

Charlie Sheen was bombarded with Tweets Thursday urging the troubled star to post a photo of himself eating the new and elusive McLobster sandwich at at McDonalds. Why? That's anyone's guess. But given the erratic behavior and equally erratic photos posted by Sheen to his new Twitter account, Sheen eating a McLobster sandwich on Twitter would actually be one of the least strange stunts the actor has pulled of late.

How Charlie Sheen Got His Twitter Account Verified So Fast

Only 24 hours after Charlie Sheen got started on Twitter with @CharlieSheen, he had amassed more than 900,000 followers, easily one of the fastest follower roll-ups the service has seen. Howard Stern, who signed up nearly a month ago, still only has 355,000.
Look who's tweeting now
But how did the all-over-the-news actor get his handle from whoever was squatting on @CharlieSheen before? And how did he get it verified so quickly?
Enter internet startup Ad.ly, which says it brokered his account with Twitter. Ad.ly, which runs celebrity endorsements through Facebook and Twitter, represents a range of bold-faced names on social media, including Kim Kardashian, Snoop Dogg, Paris Hilton and -- though there isn't any deal in place yet -- most likely Charlie Sheen eventually. If advertisers will have him.
The U.K. edition of GQ first noted Ad.ly's involvement.
We spoke with Ad.ly CEO Arnie Gullov-Singh about how it all happened.

The Power Of #tigerblood: Charlie Sheen Sets Twitter World Record

Actor Charlie Sheen now holds the Guinness World Record for being the fastest account to acquire one million followers on Twitter. Sheen reached that milestone in just 25 hours and 17 minutes, to accompany his other Guinness record for being the “Highest Paid TV Actor Per Episode — Current,” receiving $1.25 million per show.

Congratulation! Charlie Sheen Sets New Guinness World Record for Twitter

Charlie Sheen may or may not be “winning,” in life, but he has won a rare honor: the “Fastest Time to Reach 1 Million Followers” Guinness World Record.
Guinness community manager Dan Barrett says the agency “just researched and approved” the record this morning. According to Barrett, Sheen reached that milestone in 25 hours and 17 minutes. As of this writing, Sheen’s Twitter account, @CharlieSheen, has close to 1.2 million followers. Guinness did not have a previous record for that category, Barrett says. Sheen also set a Guinness record for “Highest Paid TV Actor Per Episode — Current” at $1.25 million.

The story behind how Charlie Sheen got one million Twitter followers in 24-hours

UPDATED 08:30, 3/3 Without too much difficulty Charlie Sheen has racked up more than 1.1 million followers in 24-hours, but while the actor might have been all over TV, the web and the tabloids he didn’t get to that 1.1 million follower count on his own. He had a little help from some well connected friends.c
Forbes has the story of how Sheen reached out for professional help to allow him to speak directly to the world and make a big splash on Twitter. The splash came via the way of Ad.ly the online advertising firm that specialises in working with celebrities in social media.
Sheen only follows 24 people and once you remove the celebrities, like Alyssa_Milano and SarahKSilverman, and the baseball players, Nick Swisher of the New York Yankees and Brian Wilson of the San Francisco Giants (who has a great avatar, btw), there is also Chris Ovitz who is director of business development at Ad.ly (as well as, according, to his profile being a huge dork).
Forbes called up Ad.ly and got the story from CEO Arnie Gullov-Singh:

#TigerBlood: Charlie Sheen has infiltrated Twitter

By Melissa Bell

A screengrab of a Charlie Sheen Twitpic
Charlie Sheen may be losing the faith of his family, but he's got 711,972 new followers (as of this writing) on Twitter to comfort him. Word broke Tuesday night of Sheen's arrival to the microblogging site.
In his first tweet, he and Bree Olson, one of the "goddesses," showed off bottles of milk chocolate and pineapple juice with the caption "Winning..! Choose your Vice..." Some wondered whether Sheen was making money from promoting the drinks on Twitter. Others just wanted to follow along the spiraling one-man Sheen show.
Sheen also sent out a photograph of a homemade Oscar award, a photograph of his watch, calling it "the only watch that keeps Warlock time," and addressed the reported removal of his children from his home. "My sons' are fine... My path is now clear... Defeat is not an option..!"
By Wednesday morning, Sheen's hashtag "#tigerblood" had become a worldwide trending topic.

Tiger Blood and Winning: Charlie Sheen Joins Twitter

Whether you think actor Charlie Sheen's recent behavior is bi-polar, sad, highly entertaining, or hilarious, one thing is for sure - he has made quite the impression on the Twitterverse.
The beleagured (former) star of CBS's "Two and a Half Men" joined Twitter earlier this week via @CharlieSheen. He has since amassed more than 800,000 followers, who apparently can't wait to hear about tiger blood and winning, two of Sheen's favorite topics.
In an interview with NBC earlier this week, Sheen said that Alcoholics Anonymous is intended for "people that aren't special. People that don't have tiger blood, you know, Adonis DNA." He later used the #TigerBlood hashtag on Twitter, propelling it to the top of Twitter's trending topics in the United States and worldwide.
